The Constraints of Public Choice
There are limits and they make people uncomfortable because you can't always get what you want, right? They do. So there's another side to which you touched on a little bit to public choice and that's the constitutional constraints. Donald Trump, for example, famously wanted to ban Muslims from coming to the country. He tried with several executive orders and they were all struck down by the Supreme Court. But we have instances like that where even today it's still kind of working.
