What Is Phenomenology?
In phenomenology or actually in dialectical thought, what you're always doing is going back to the theory. According to Hegel, a very concrete explanation would be there was a reason you stepped out and there was you were doing things. And there is a reason somebody was driving and there's a reason they were driving the way they were. The more of these causes that you add to the explanation, the more times you go to a higher level of understanding, the more concrete your understanding is.
