The Role of Design in Multidisciplinary Teams
Bajez: We get to a stage where sort of everyone in the commercial world understands design but if you ask them to write down the definition that that'll be slightly different. He says there are not only different understandings of design at different levels of seniority and experience but also in different areas of the world. American colleagues tend to have quite a teleological or sort of output oriented understanding of design it's like about the product very much whether that's a set of ideas or a thing. European folks maybe have a richer understanding of it as a form of research in a form of knowledge production.
