Social media does of its own accord ridiculously horribly. It's set the expectation of its users. Do something really interesting a week from now you're going to be a millionaire because you've gone viral. And then social media entices you to do it repeatedly. I'm not a great golfer, but the first time I ever played golf I sank a 25 foot putt.
