The Future of Cryptocurrency

The idea of using it as a more efficient payments network was the thing that got me excited about Bitcoin when I first read about it. There were some interesting ideas around identity as well there were early companies like One Name which subsequently became Blockstack, Showcard and Civic. It definitely is interesting to see some of the themes and ideas maybe fail in one market cycle and then as the tools and underlying platforms improve it becomes a little easier and a little better. The same idea is being tried over and over and most of the time they'll fail for similar reasons but at a certain point we also are working for XYZ reasons. Personally I really enjoyed being in a field when it was very contrarian
