Schwartz and His Associates Must Show Cause for Why They Should Not Be Sanctioned
Federal judge Kevin Castell is considering punishments for Schwartz and his associates. The lawyers affidavit said that he, quote, had never utilized chat GPT as a source for conducting legal research prior to this occurrence. A June 8th hearing at which Schwartz, fellow attorney Peter Loduca and the law firm must show cause for why they should not be sanctioned.
