I'm rereading the book that made you famous, A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius. Rereading your book makes me think that that's what writing a memoir in your 20s did for you at a time when your life was a bit out of control. Is it? Yeah. I mean, when I talk to kids about writing their story, I have some expertise in this. My parents died when I was 21 and within six weeks of each other and I spent, gosh, eight nine years after that trying to make sense of it.
