The History of Music in Western Kentucky
I was born in Western Tennessee, raised in Western Kentucky. My dad is technically a Delta farmer, so I was raised right on the Mississippi Rivers. He grows mono crops, so wheat, soybeans, corn. We've got a few horses, because we're Kentuckians, but we don't do livestock or anything like that. But as far as people who were seeking to be involved in music, I mean, my mother put me and my brothers and piano lessons at an early age. And then I decided I wanted to play the guitar.
