The Problem Is Too Many People Using Too Much Stuff
The root cause of climate change is too many people buying too much stuff. We're trapped in this growth paradime, because companies are judged by thata, compounded, quarterly annual growth. But when that growth stops, the economy collapses. And yet we're trapped, and nobody's nobody knows how to get out of the trap yet. A dug tompkins referred to it as a predicament, rather than a crisis,. Because crises rally people to find solutions, and predicaments are a little more difficult. This is our greatest predicament.
