What happens is those protectors, again, I'll say it again, the perfecting, achieving, these are all protectors. These are all ways that we're trying to protect ourselves by managing perceptions and keeping us in belonging. They actually soften, but they don't stop. They actually do their job better in a more harmonious, more generous, more if you think of the fruit of the spirit,. truly loving, kind, gentle way with yourself and with others.
