The Role of Government in the Race Disparity Strategy
We've made progress, but there's a lot more to do. The changes we need are that every institution needs to be more con dent talking and navigating race in britain. We're having too polarized a debate about race. It will depend on the political leadership of the progressives. This time is going to be flash points - it's not just to beflash points now. But were the polarizers unites or divides, will depend on political leadership. And i'm more optimistic than my friend patrick about this, and say it a bit differently. I think we've got to cut through the culture war, and i think, i think we have a chance to do it.
