You cannot have pie in the sky bulshet, ok, this is the time to get real with each other. What do you both want to do? Who's the spender? who's the saver? And how you going to set that? All those a things together into a realistic budget that you can both follow and monitor and keep checking in with. That will keep you on course to a being more transparent and to getting used to having conversations about money and about finance.
