The Anxiety Producing Position of Jimmy Stewart
Jimmy Cevallos' new way of looking at Galatians was anxiety inducing for certain theological traditions. He says Wesleyan's in general didn't have a problem with the new perspective because it puts a lot of emphasis on believing and being holy, which is precisely what covenantal nomism is. "It doesn't make faith alone the center of Christianity or even the innovation of Christianity," he says.
