Are the Essenes Men?

Historians debate who the essenes were and how much we actually know about them. They went out into the desert to prepare for god's coming judgment. Some continued to serve in the temple, but many of them had abandoned the system entirely. Their theology certainly has that field to it. And their commitment was to the path.
