Bond Books - Is There a Level of Whackiness Like the Movies?

i wonder if the nfleming bond books got to that level of whackiness. They probably hadn't. A guy has even written a cook book based on all the foods listed in the book, and he called it license to cook. Iasly, they nt get us on any technicaliness. Ye, never had a good tie take away.
