The Socially Combined Worker

The cost of an item is not going to just be determined by the amount of labor that goes into it, he says. It's actually going to be determined by a relationship between laborers across different industries. And this establishes what marks calls a socially combined worker. But in any case, any change or fluctuation primarily benefits the capitalist. So if the means of production, the cost of the means ofProduction in machines, goes down, it only benefits the capitalist and not the worker.
