The Importance of Monitoring Patients on Dialysis

Dr. Stryfe Michael Stryfe from Hopkins is a hematologist and it was about DVT. He said he uses the five milligram dose in patients on dialysis and that he's even checked 10a levels on patients. The one that will get you yelled at is checking a post dialysis electrolyte panel and then replacing the potassium, which is low. Everybody coming out of dialysis is going to have a low potassium. These are not good for hemodynamicous patients.
