In October last year, Hydro-powered Development connected a 2.2 GW solar plant to the grid in the desert in China's remote Qinghai province. "The image looks like it's from Mars or something," says one foreigner living in China. And also another interesting video I saw, it talked about the problems they had with these solar fields.
