Is It Really a Function of the Failure of Democracy in Texas?
The left at this point sounds about as reactionary as some birchers in 1960 saying that Eisenhower was like a red agent. The Americans, I think, who use this language have adopted that completely. They know that they're being cynical and misusing the term. But when you hear people like Beto, or the average Twitter using the word democracy, they just haven't thought it through, right?
