The Problem of Weeds and Pests in Solar System Habitats

Self growing habitats would almost inevitably get its mutants, weeds, viruses and so on. But same as we have simbio its, paracites, predators and invadors in our own equo system, i can't really imagine a solar system packed full of self growing habitats. It's more likely you'd have all sorts of overlapping programmes and species of self replicator and habitat grower or species forger that just accidentally got dropped somewhere or transplanted. An amusing case compared to cancerous growth where some foreign replicator was trying to grow antennae and radiators.
