"What is not repaired is repeated. If you don't map out how you got lost, how you wandered off, you will remain lost because you have no way of locating where you are now," he says. "You do have to ask what was it that caused us to become lost? But more importantly, what caused us to becoming lost when we didn't know it?" He adds: "If we don't repair these things, we are going to keep doing them in other contexts."
Our good friend and partner in The After Party project, Russell Moore, joins us to talk about his new book, “Losing Our Religion: An Altar Call for Evangelical America.” Curtis and Russell talk about why “mapping” our loss is critical for those who currently feel culturally, politically, or spiritually homeless. We explore two kinds of maps - the “treasure map” and the “minefield map” - and why Christians need both.
