The Importance of Sharing Governance in Open AI
The best way forward is cooperation, basically. We need broad literacy in the population so that people can ask for what's needed from their elected representatives. And then finally, I would add, open AI is out there saying they're doing this for the benefit of humanity. Well, who are they to choose? It really does need to be a collective project,. That means collective governance, and that means regulation.
