Is It Better to Heat a Single Room or the Whole House?
When heaters can look like a cheap option, but they are quite expensive appliances to run. In most cases the cheapest option would be to heat the room using your gas boiler and control with thermostatic radiator valves. This is because gas is around three times cheaper than electricity per unit. A gas central heating system cost per hour is a little trickier to work out. However, in almost all cases, using your central heating will be much cheaper.
