Can a Language Model Set Up My Economic Model for Me?

The current version of GPT can do a little bit of that and maybe just enough to save time when we are like writing undergrad with problem sets. But it's not particularly powerful at it yet. However, I have also recently tried asking the same questions to the new Bing or Sydney as its codenames. And it's already significantly more capable at the exact same questions that are analyzed in the paper six weeks ago. This is really something where I could see this rapid progress happening within a matter of weeks... So I found it quite impressive.
