The Importance of William Cooper in the Nineties
William Cooper was a popular radio host in the nineties. His book Behold a Pale Horse ended up circulating in prisons, and as a result of this he became hugely influential in hip hop lyrics. There's a very good biography of him by Mark Jacobson called hail horse rider. And then I hope to do an episode about, about Cooper at some point because he's such a strange and fascinating figure.
