Kielinge has been fought over, marched over and frequently divided up. The most devastating period was almost 500 years ago when a maelstrom of destruction took place. In germany the events still rates as more cataclysmic than either the great war or the black death. One event burns itself into me still, the siege of the city of magdeburg by the catholic league in 16 31.
