Is It Just That the US Economy Is Stronger Than Anyone Thought?
I think there are structural reasons that have made the US economy more or less immune to monetary policy tightening. For instance, super strong consumer balance sheets. We had a crisis when was that 15 years ago, 14 years ago and people have been deleveraging. They are able to take on more debts so they are able to not sell their own. The US has a very peculiar or very unique financial markets. So for instance, we buy our houses with 30 year fixed mortgage. I think we are the only country in the G10 that does that. It's true that the Fed needs to be much more forceful. But right now, I am definitely not seeing any signs that we are headed
