The smallest alteration of tone replicated over the same refrain, i am sitting alone in a room different than the one you are now, eventually breaks down the entire structure of the refrain and leaves like a low hum at the very end. I thinkat this this structure of refrain is really helpful in trying to understand what people mean by 'short circuiting' And so again, others theres it's very political what they're talking about here, cause they're letting us look at what is fuzzy and understand who is deciding what things aren't going to be fuzzy and what things are going to be blurry.
