The Aristotelian Idea of a Finite Universe
The medieval church collapsed because their entire worldview was based on the Aristotelian notion of a finite universe. This led to much later on, it led to the development of calculus and calculus is one of the most important tools in the world. If you could just imagine every modern science not existing, that's what zero would be if we hadn't discovered zero. And then finally, my favorite things about zero is that it implied it lead to the discovery of imaginary numbers and imaginary numbers is what led to the digital age,. Like all of this has its foundation imaginary numbers. So I mean, boom, like, it completely blew my mind.
