The Fed Voted to Pause Today and Keep Interest Rates Steady After 15 Months of Rate Hikes
The FOMC left the benchmark federal funds rate in a target range of five to five and a quarter percent. Fed Chair Jay Powell said that this month's pause is a continuation of the moderating pace of policy measures. Double Line Capital's Jeff Gundlach was saying today he doesn't believe the Fed will continue to raise rates any time soon.
