Is There a Target for Linux?
Rust has added a new target triple for x8664-unknown-none, which means there's no OS there. The idea is that previously we were trying to compile if we wanted people to be able to easily build our thing and have to install artifacts by hand. It's much less than I have people just be able to use Rust up. And so, yeah, it's pretty cool. If you're writing embed stuff in Rust, this is what you want to be looking at.
Jon and Ben discuss the highlights of the 1.62, 1.63, and 1.64 releases of Rust.
