Sohacitic worship was very musical. You might sing and dance. And then you would close out with a tish, a sort of supper at the end of shabat,. They would stay and not light lights until it was very dark. Some rabbis became hasitic. There were sadikim who were also ordained rabbis, and then also women. The court is the gathering place where people can come and visit and associate with the tsadik or the rebi. It's really impossible to count exactly how many casidim there were because, you know what, if some one goes to one of these courts once or twice, do they count as a hacid
