The Uncharacteristic Statement of Justice Scalia
Clarence Thomas issued an uncharacteristic statement that is pretty unusual for him to comment, but he did so here. He said: "I sought guidance from my colleagues and was advised that this kind of hospitality from friends who don't have business at the court wasn't reportable" This seems flatly inconsistent with obligations to disclose their incumbent on all public officials, including the Supreme Court.
