The Young Writers Are More Hardworking Than I Am
Professor Tidai-Wei: Young writers I know in Taiwan are very admirable. They really find that politics is so important and justice for all is important. Many of them will engage themselves with justice for Aboriginal people in Taiwan, even if they are not from Aboriginal backgrounds. We also know that young writers pay a lot of attention to new immigrants who are new to Taiwan or immigrant workers. Their literature is also practicing some kind of sociology because we know that the marginalized population are discussed in sociology. So you think that basically their work, the sci-fi writing in the future will also incorporate that kind of sociological phenomenon that requires a lot? Yes, yes.
