The Power of Sunflowers
Sunflowers are like nature's vacuums, sucking radioactive contamination and heavy metals out of the ground. Indigenous people grew them more than 4,000 years ago in what is now Mexico. Spanish explorers brought these bewitching blossoms back with them to Europe. They became a worldwide favorite - especially in Russia and Ukraine which grow more sunflowers than anywhere else in the world.
