The Importance of New Evidence in a Superseding Indictment
There's not a lot of discovery that's voluminous relating to the new counts. The Oliveira started life as a valet for Trump at Mar-a-Lago. He becomes a property manager, longtime loyal employee of the former president. So this is someone who I feel sure would have been approached prior to the indictment and offered a deal in exchange for testimony. But there are some real questions here about the quality of legal advice he's getting.
