Is a Grammar School a State School?

A grammar school can charge money if it wants. It doesn't have to and some charge more than others and some don't charge at all But they can so in Belfast I went to two different grammar schools and they both charge different amounts of money to go. If you go to a state school, they're not allowed to charge you anything at all, right So grammar school state school not the same. A public school is not a state school Now you would think it is but it isn'tIt's a false friend to translate it as Colléchia publico. In fact public schools are the most elite schools in the United Kingdom. You'll probably have to pay a lot of money
