Is the Bumper Stitch the Answer?

The bumper stitch is a vertical mattress where you take a bite through the skin and then after that you place the needle through like a small piece of sterile tubing. I've never used the bumper stitch, but there needs to be innovation in how tubes are held in place so patients don't need another stick. It'd be cool if somebody came up with something that held that in place without adhesive and without suture. We'll see.
