Matthew: I sort of don't really watch my rating anymore and it doesn't bother me at all. If I'm going to give away points I am happy to give them to juniors. He says he's used the woodpecker method quite a bit to go through the step method books. Matthew also talks about his new book chess for life which is aimed at adults trying to get better at chess. It aims to take you from beginner all the way up to about 2200 but how long did this take like how many hours a day were you spending when you were repeating all of the puzzles over compressed periods of time?
