Is There a Dogmatic Falsificationist?
Dogmatic falsificationism is the idea that a proposition is only scientific if you can spell out the way in which it might be refuted, till you specify in experiments in advance how you would refute it. The other aspect of dogmatic falsificationist is just that there is this sharp line between theory and experiment. So as laketosh quotes someone, man proposes nature disposes, and that what we're trying to do,. or that what happens during scientific change, involves this kind of conflict between these two very well defined categories, one theoretical and one observational.
