The Importance of Choice in Life

"I just come from a good upbringing. My parents were really real," he says. "It's like you have to have a choice whether you want to make it out of that shit or you can be exactly how everybody is around there." He describes driving through Newark and then across the bridge into New York City, going from one world to another. "[The] city looks the same. Like why does Republicans, Democrats, they switch who's in office and nothing changes? ... It doesn't have to be that way anymore!"
