Principles Versus Outcome: How Libertarians Can Talk About Reasonably
We want to talk about principle versus outcome. We write 50 op-eds plus a year have been doing for a number of years and we get lots of hate mail. The hate mail that we get is invariably focusing on outcome when what we want to talks about is principle. California passed two laws in the past six months focused on outcome, one said that boards of directors must include a certain fraction of females. This is an outcome driven decision. Give you one guess what's going to happen with the first law.
