How Do We Deal With the Doom in the World?
I think one of the really open questions about this is the degree to which people need or don't need to feel worse about it, to grieve their way through. There's a strong argument that if you don't really let your heartbreak about this, that you're going to sabotage your strategies and technological solutions somewhere down the road without realizing it. One of the things for me in the last couple of years, even though I've been concerned with this my whole life, my heart's broken a lot more about it in the last few years. And so I feel enormously sympathetic to what it would be like if I couldn't do that very well. Even to hold this in optimal ways
