Is Fracking a Short Term Solution?
There's markets on a nifeg rigt now, there's been quite a lot of talk about things that we could do in the medium term to produce more energy at home. Some people have even been talking about fracking. Ting is a question of time frames here. There are probably some smaller fields, incremental fields, that could be brought into production fairly quickly, within months or years. Developing new fields is going to take a long time. So that's not an immediate solution to the problem. But making sure that everything we have in the north sea is fully functional, and i hopein we don't have major interruptions will be critically important.
