Carbon Offsets - Are They Unavoidable?
I just want to note that the IPCC does suggest that some offsets are going to be unavoidable. So it's really important that we push for as close to real zero as possible so that the carbon offsets are kind of only ones that are like actually required and actually necessary. And then I'll bring you a demo. The entire modern economy is built on fossil fuel extraction. That's not me saying I don't want it to happen. But there's no evidence so far to suggest that it can happen.
