Introduction
Tara Lee Cobble: Today we meet Saul's son Jonathan for the first time. She says he plans a sneak attack on the Philistines with just him and his armor bearer. He makes a vow to God, cursing anyone who eats food in the middle of the day. Finally after they defeat the Philistine and the sun sets, everyone is famished.
