Iterator Dot Range: How to Iterate Over Sequences

There's a proposal to add helpers like map filter, et cetera, for those types of iterators as well. I don't see any reason why this will get added eventually to the language. The other stage two proposal is one that's also kind of interesting in that it's how is it that this thing hasn't, doesn't exist yet? It seems like this kind of thing needs to be built in.
