The Importance of Product Owners in the Agile World

The agile world has inappropriately used the product owner term. Product owners are someone who can collect feedback from customers and navigate internal parts of an organization. If a company doesn't have that role in place, is doomed to fail because they're not having that person thinking about how this product will help the organization be successful going forward.
