Theology of Suffering in the Church
I have this opinion that a lot of what we call deconstruction with younger generations is because we don't have a robust practical theology of suffering and brokenness. So instead of it being like if I talk about my suffering that's bad PR for Jesus that the way that we're vulnerable and either out of our pain care for others or allow others to care for us that that's actually the best PR. The church is historically always known that to live is to suffer. It's only the recent church that has lost that sense of things and replaced it with this idea that to suffer you're somehow less than you're failing.
