The hospital had a target of doing as few cesarians as possible. It attracted consultants and midwives who wanted to practise in that way. The mortality rates were higher than other trusts, and they were deliffering poorer care. And i think for me to day, this is a vindication for lots of families,. For along time, this was scaremongerin and it wasn't true. Well, now we have to make sure it doesn't happen again.
